Please use the following link to the EVOLVE website which hosts all the information and guidance on Educational Visits and Off-site Activities for schools/ establishments/ services within BwDBC.
You will need a login to access the EVOLVE website. Please see your EVC (Educational Visits Coordinator) for a login or discuss with your manager and contact the Education Consultant for Learning Outside the Classroom, Schools & Education, Witton Park City Learning Centre, BwDBC.
The guidance for Educational Visits within BwDBC is called: ‘BwDBC Requirements for Off-site Visits and Adventurous Activities’ and can be found by following the ‘Guidance’ link on the home page of the EVOLVE website.

2. Activities and Visits Policy (Residential Homes)

This policy is in addition to the ‘BwDBC Requirements for Off-site Visits and Adventurous Activities’ (employer guidance).3. Holidays
Holidays organised for Looked After Children in residential homes come under the same guidance and procedures as all other off-site visits / activities. Approval must be sought by completing an electronic Visit Form on the Evolve website. Please see your EVC or Manager for further details.
If a passport is required then please consult with your Manager as soon as possible as this process can take a long time.
